Live-Action Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Wins Audience
The live-action JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakablefilm won the RTS Audience Award at the Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival (NIFFF) in Switzerland on Saturday. The festival hosted the film's world premiere on July 2. Director Takashi Miike and lead actor Kento Yamazaki were present for the screening.
The film will also screen at Montreal's Fantasia International Film Festival, which will take place from Thursday, July 13 to August 2. The film will open in Japan on August 4.
The film's title is JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond wa Kudakenai Dai-Ichi-Shō (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable Chapter I), although the staff have not yet confirmed additional installments for the series.
