ARROW SEASON 6: WHAT WILL HAPPEN?

    “Arrow” season 6 will see Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) having more involvement with his son William. While there have been no confirmed details yet, high are the chances that William’s mother is already dead due to Lin Yu Island explosion. Lots of storylines have been introduced in the past and now, season 6 is set to dig deeper into Oliver Queen’s past.

It can be recalled that William’s mom got pregnant with him during Oliver’s earlier days – his playboy era. He is in a relationship with Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) that time. He did not know what to do, but when his mother became aware of the situation, Moira Queen (Susanna Thompson) paid the pregnant woman and gave the instruction not to ever appear in her son’s sight again.

However, Oliver’s ever protective mother did not inform her son about what she did. On one end, Oliver was relieved there is no obstruction in her relationship with Laurel. As expected, his son William grew up without knowing him, and the mother of his child decided to get away as far as possible.

Fate had them meet face to face again at Jitters, during Oliver’s visit in Central City. No one can deny the fact that Team Arrow has faced several problems where William had to be the leverage. Oliver tried to hide him and his mother, but in the latest season, Prometheus found them.

Having Oliver continually dwell in the past is no surprise. After all, flashbacks in the show are still ongoing. According to Screen Rant, self-reflections will likely be the series’ focus on moving forward following the tragic events of season 5.

        What happened in the finale will not only show destructions and death but also consequences in every aspect of Oliver’s life.

Reexamining his relationship and himself

Oliver is set to have a particular attention in his relationship with William. Despite being father and son, these characters do not know each other, but Stephen Amell recently mentioned in an interview how he hopes for the relationship of both to develop.

“I am excited that not only are they going to learn about having the father-son relationship, I think we are going to explore that in Season 6, but William also knows that Oliver is the Green Arrow.”
