Sin City TV series Coming Soon

There’s a Sin City TV series in the works, with some big names attached to the project.
According to Deadline, TWC/Dimension is working on a TV series based on Frank Miller’s Sin City graphic novels. The site reveals that the “reboot” will stick much closer to the source material than the two movies, and they’ve hired none other than Glen Mazzara (The Shield, The Walking Dead) to write.
Not only that, but they’ve also tappedUnderworld helmer and creator Len Wiseman to direct the pilot (Wiseman previously directed episodes of Sleepy Hollow andLucifer for TV), with Sin City: A Dame to Kill For producer Stephen L’Heureux overseeing the project. L’Heureux will also produce the series alongside Mazzara, Wiseman and Bob and Harvey Weinstein, as well as Frank Miller himself. That's some top genre firepower right there.
Networks have apparently begun to circle the hot project, which is intended to be a “far departure from the films, introducing original characters and timelines within the Sin Cityuniverse.” It'll be interesting to see the storylines and characters they come up with, and what visual style they'll use for the television show.
