Netflix Is Now Your Movie Dating Site
Netflix is making a major change to their site. They are getting rid of the star system which they claim has been misunderstood. The stars you ranked a movie or show would be used to help find more show you like. They were specific to you and your taste. But to make things easier, they are taking a note from dating sites (their admission) and making it simply a thumbs up / thumbs down rating system. If you like what you just watched, click the thumbs up… hated it, thumbs down. And that will be factored in to the suggestions they make for you in the future.
