Arrow Likely Won’t Unmask Vigilante This Season

      Last week’s episode of the CW drama, “Fighting Fire with Fire,” finally revealed Star City District Attorney Adrian Chase beneath the hood of Prometheus, Season Five’s primary antagonist. That left fans to wonder who then is Vigilante.

“We know the answer to that,” executive producer Marc Guggenheim told EW. “You probably will not get the answer to that in Season 5.”

Although disappointing, it’s understandable that “Arrow” might want to tackle one antagonist at a time. DC Comics fans may have been thrown for a loop by the Prometheus revelation, however, as in the comic books Vigilante was the masked identity of Chase.

          In this week’s episode, titled “Checkmate,” Oliver Queen will inch closer to learning the truth about Prometheus.

Airing Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, “Arrow” stars Stephen Amell as the Green Arrow, Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Willa Holland as Thea Queen, Paul Blackthorne as Quentin Lance and Echo Kellum as Curtis Holt.
